Background World Wide Web has provided an Internet platform for wide range of distributed web applications. Web technologies have been extensively used to implement various publicly accessible systems through the Internet. Recently, there is an increasing interest towards Internet applications of medical and clinical research [1]. These applications utilize the Internet not only as a source of healthcare information, but also provide the ability to communicate with health care professionals. Medical professionals use Internet to exchange medical data and images for telediagnosis [2].
